Accessibility
I. Commitment
Neurolus Psychometrics strives to make the information on this website clear, readable, and usable for the widest possible audience. We regularly review our website, operational, and exam materials against recognized accessibility guidelines, such as WCAG 2.1. We also continue to improve our features over time as part of an ongoing accessibility effort.
II. Current Features
This website already includes several features intended to support accessibility:
- Larger base text size (140% of the browser default) and increased line spacing.
- High contrast between background and text color.
- Hyper-links and buttons that are visually distinct from surrounding text.
- No complex animations or scripts.
- A semantic H.T.M.L. structure designed to work well with modern screen readers.
III. Ongoing Improvements
We continually refine the accessibility of our website and services. Toward this effort, we update features, review compatibility with assistive technologies, and make iterative enhancements over time.
Visitors who encounter difficulties accessing or using any part of our website are encouraged to contact us so we can promptly address the issue.
IV. Proctoring Accessibility
We review accessibility requests on a case-by-case basis and approve accommodations when they:
- Do not compromise the psychometric validity of the exam,
- Do not provide an unfair advantage, and
- Can be implemented consistently across proctoring environments.
At the present moment, visual magnification tools are approved for the visually impaired. Other accommodations may be declined when granting them would fundamentally alter the construct being measured or introduce inconsistencies across sittings.
